Question: My son-in-law checks on his Dads chickens every couple days while they are in Arizona. Nothing but ashes of coop and all but one chicken, which must have missed the automatic door closure the previous evening.Fire stopped at a cow path, otherwise it was five miles of pasture before the next break. No wind for a change. Lucked.

That's absolutely devastating news about the fire at your son-in-law's Dad's chicken coop. The loss of the coop and all those chickens is heartbreaking. It's good that at least one chicken survived and that the fire didn't spread further thanks to the cow path. It sounds like it could have been much worse. Flag for review
