Question: I pretty much stopped posting on MH after 52 years in the trade and 36 years in business. I retired 3 years ago, and after eating, sleeping, and pretty much living the "electrical life" of 24x7, 365 days a year electrician and entrepreneur I just lost interest in posting or responding to posts regarding my chosen profession. However, I still read threads and may chime in if it piques my interest or if I can add something that has not been covered. When I first retired my kids, wife, and close friends thought I would suffer from not being in the trade, I seriously do not miss it, though I do miss the men and women I worked with and occasionally the feeling of success when solving electrical issues many just shrugged their shoulders at. But as for being bored there is always something to do. Presently getting everything together to rewire my dock.I relocated from the hustle and bustle of Washington DC to the sleepy little town of Kilmarnock, VA which is located on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay.Brian John
