There are positions available in the Water and Wastewater departments, which report to Oakland or Walnut Creek.Competitive candidates will share these values and also have industrial electrical experience in maintaining/repairing and/or installing switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, soft starters, UPSs, PLCs, electric motors, transformers, control panels, conduits, power distribution and lighting systems similar to those found at EBMUD facilities.The salary range is $10,409 per month increasing to $10,929, $11,475, and $12,049 after 12, 24, and 36 months, respectively. A high school diploma or its equivalent.2a. Possession of a valid California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.4. Must possess the physical characteristics to perform the critical and important duties of the class, including sufficient agility to climb to a height of 65 feet, sufficient strength to lift and maneuver equipment and materials such as conduit or pipe up to a weight of 90 pounds with assistance, and sufficient color vision to differentiate cable color coding.
