Question: Would 225 A(6), permit a secondary feed to a detached structure from a UPS, so that there could be a UPS and non-UPS panel in the detached structure? The structure is currently fed from a 60 amp breaker in 100 amp critical load panel. There is an air conditioning unit in the detached structure which should not be run off the UPS.I personally think a load shed device would be a much better and safer setup, but this idea was presented to me and I'm not sure if I have the justification to reject it on a code basis.
