Question: Hello, I have a mechanical room where I have to put in a shunt trip disconnect. I was looking at Eaton’s ator safety disconnect with the built-in shunt trip things like six grand and got a decent lead time. I’m gonna look through 620.But can you use a panel with a shunt trip breaker in a panel right next to the control box in the mechanical room with the elevator equipment he’s telling me it needs to be the disconnect that is lockable but what if I get a panel it’s lockable. also where is the demarcation for tying into the sprinkler system for this trip? I was wondering to put a little splice box above my panel and that the fire sprinklers guys can tie into that
