Question: Can anyone help me. . .I'd like to run 2 sets of feeders out of an eyeline main distribution panel--feeding 2-200 single phase panels in ONE 4" conduit. Can I do this?

Yes, you can run two sets of feeders out of an eyeline main distribution panel and feed two 200-amp single phase panels in one 4" conduit.Requirements

The feeder cables must be rated for the ampacity of the panels they are feeding (200 amps). The conduit must be large enough to accommodate all of the cables without overcrowding. The circuit breakers in the main distribution panel must be sized accordingly. The conduit must be properly supported and secured.

Procedure

1. Install the eyeline main distribution panel and circuit breakers.
2. Run the conduit from the main distribution panel to the two 200-amp panels.3. Pull the feeder cables through the conduit.
4. Connect the feeder cables to the circuit breakers in the main distribution panel and the bus bars in the 200-amp panels.5. Secure the conduit and feeder cables.

Tips

Use a pulling lubricant to make it easier to pull the cables through the conduit. Leave some slack in the cables so that you can make adjustments if necessary. Use cable ties to secure the cables together and to the inside of the conduit.
