Question: Is anyone aware if the NEC prohibits you from running two different voltages in the same conduit? For example if I have a 20A/480V/3ph circuit in a conduit can I run a 20A/120V circuit in that same conduit?

Yes, the NEC prohibits running two different voltages in the same conduit, unless the conductors are in separate raceways, such as innerduct. This is because of the potential for electrical shock and fire hazards.

NEC 300.3(C) states that "Conductors of different systems, voltages, or circuits shall not occupy the same equipment, enclosure, or raceway. Exception: Where conductors of different systems, voltages, or circuits are permitted together in accordance with other articles of this Code."NEC 300.22(B) specifically states that "Conductors of different voltages shall not occupy the same raceway unless isolated by an approved barrier."
