Question: We have a pedestal mount Nema-3R loadcenter roughly 80' from the home. The loadcenter is mounted on a uni-strut pedetal. We are running a equipment grounding conductor sized for the 60A feeder. DO we need to provide a grounding electrode at the uni-strut pedestal per NEC 250.32?Thanks
Yes, according to NEC 250.32, a grounding electrode must be provided at the uni-strut pedestal. The grounding electrode is required to provide a low-resistance path to ground for fault currents and lightning strikes. The grounding electrode should be connected to the equipment grounding conductor sized for the 60A feeder. Flag for review
