Question: To obtain a license in most states the first prereq before any testing etc. has to be working the the FIELD with tools for a certain period of time. Correct? THanks.
Yes, in most states, the first prerequisite before any testing or certification for a trade license is to work in the field with tools for a certain period of time. This is known as "field experience" or "practical experience." The required number of hours or years of experience varies by trade and state. Flag for review
