Question: I’m looking at wiring a farm shed for an in-law. 100 amp service. I have 4/0 service cable but can’t recall if a 100 amp meter base will take 4/0 lugs. I think 1/0 is probably the max. I haven’t done a 100 in a long time. Anyone know right off hand? I won’t be anywhere soon to check one.
No, a 100 amp meter base will not take 4/0 lugs. 1/0 is the maximum size lug that a 100 amp meter base can accommodate. Flag for review
