Question: 2017 NEC 210.8(B) is anyone aware of a hight exception that if a receptacle is above a set elevation it is exempt from GFCI protection for personnel in other than dwelling units? Location is a garage/warehouse, assembly/production area.
2017 NEC 210.8(B) does not contain an exception for elevated receptacles in non-dwelling units. Receptacles in garages, workshops, and similar locations are required to have GFCI protection, regardless of the height of the receptacle. Flag for review
