Question: The notch and bolts used to bolt the sections together come with the equipment? I'm assuming not. Thanks

Whether the notches and bolts come with the equipment depends entirely on the equipment you're buying. Check the product description/specifications

This is the
most important step. The description should clearly state what's included. Look for keywords like "hardware included," "assembly required," or a detailed list of parts.

Look at the images

Sometimes the images show the hardware included with the item.

Contact the seller/manufacturer

If the description is unclear, contact the seller or manufacturer directly. They can give you a definitive answer.

Consider the type of equipment

Certain types of equipment are more likely to include hardware than others. For example, a large piece of furniture designed for self-assembly will almost always include the necessary hardware. A simple, single-piece item is unlikely to include bolts.*
